Nashville International Airport had an immediate need to expand its international capacity because of its record-setting growth. The goal of the Interim-IAB (International Arrivals Building) is to allow for immediate expansion while the future, permanent IAB is designed and constructed. JE Dunn, as a part of a design-build team, constructed the modifications to the existing terminal concourse A and existing international arrivals area, encompassing 19,570 SF with a $7.2 million budget. The Level 1 Arrivals Corridor includes self-check kiosk upgrades to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection processing area and a new ramped corridor that eliminates the need for arriving passengers to re-check baggage.
